Employee Support

At Coastal Compass, we believe that every employee deserves genuine, compassionate support, especially when life or work feels overwhelming. Our employee support services are designed to offer a safe space for individuals to talk, reflect, and find ways forward that strengthen wellbeing both in and out of the workplace. Our wellness team brings extensive experience in providing empathetic, professional care. Each team member is trained in Mental Health First Aid, ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training), Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Family Violence Intervention, Communication and De-escalation, as well as Rural Mental Health and Group Orientation Facilitation.

Employee Support Pathways

At Coastal Compass Limited, we understand that employee wellbeing needs vary. Some individuals benefit from a supportive conversation, while others may require more specialised professional support. Our structured support pathway ensures employees can access the right level of care at the right time.

Initial Wellbeing Conversation

Employees can access confidential one-on-one conversations with a Coastal Compass wellbeing practitioner. These sessions provide a safe space to talk through challenges, gain perspective, and explore practical strategies for managing stress, workplace pressures, or personal concerns.

Ongoing Wellbeing Support

Where appropriate, employees may engage in a short series of supportive sessions focused on problem-solving, emotional regulation, resilience building, and practical wellbeing strategies. These sessions aim to help individuals regain stability and confidence while maintaining their wellbeing at work.

Referral to Contracted Counsellors

If an employee requires deeper therapeutic support, we can facilitate a referral to our trusted network of contracted counsellors. This ensures individuals have access to qualified mental health professionals who can provide more specialised care while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Continued Access to Support

Employees may continue accessing support through Coastal Compass while engaging with external counselling services, ensuring they remain connected to workplace-focused wellbeing support.
This layered approach allows organisations to provide meaningful support for their employees while ensuring those who need specialised care can access it quickly and appropriately.

At Coastal Compass, we’re here to walk alongside your team, creating healthier, more connected workplaces where people feel valued, understood, and supported every step of the way.
